Portrait of Sister Austin Doherty

Sister Austin Doherty became Academic Dean in 1978 after the death of Robert Pitman. She held that title until 1991. She was given the added title, Vice President of Academic affairs, and held that title from 1982-1999. Later, she was the director of the Alverno College Institute from 1999-2005. This portrait was taken for the May 1991 issue of Alverno Magazine.
